Every neighborhood school is different.  Currently, these schools do not have school board representation from parents like us with direct, day-to-day knowledge of our child's specific school experiences, school issues, and specific building challenges.

How can we broaden the number of schools represented on the CPS board?

Before June 11, please show your desire for broader school building representation by supporting Robin Hubbard's school board application.  Her child has attended Benton (preK), Shepard (K-5), and Lange (6) and friends from other unrepresented schools have shared their experiences. Robin Hubbard

Columbia Public School Board Applicant

My Vision

·         Our school system will be the low-cost provider of high quality education that maximizes each student's individual learning

·         Reduce young people's potential for poor choices.  Every school building will become a neighborhood community center for after-school social gathering of grades 5-12, free or inexpensive activities organized by youth organization partners, and for public computer lab access so our children are positively engaged rather than bored and vulnerable to at-risk-behaviors

My Experience

·         Active Involvement with school and school board

·         Student Achievement Strategies

·         Finance, Budgeting, and long-term strategic Planning
